Radiation Update

Caroline completed her five SBRT photon radiation treatments (higher dose, ultra-concentrated radiation).  Compared to her radiation in March, she experienced more noticeable side effects this time around...mainly fatigue and nausea/stomach issues, which will hopefully fade away quickly so she can have the most fun this summer!

Next steps will be routine clinic visits for lab work and then scans at the end of July.  Assuming nothing unforeseen happens in the meantime, we'll update the blog once we know the scan results.  If you'd like to follow along Caroline's summer adventures, we'll post them on Instagram (@carolingstrong3.0).
