Scan Report 10/23/26

Caroline's progress scans were a mixed bag today...

There is a continued positive response in both the pelvic and femoral areas of disease. The pelvic area is almost completely resolved on the PET scan, and the femoral spot has definitely reduced in size since the August report.

Unfortunately, a new *potential* area of concern has popped up on the top left part of her humerus (arm/shoulder area). This spot will require an MRI to determine if it’s a muscular injury, or potentially new, active neuroblastoma in the bone. We are working with her team to get the MRI scheduled and read asap (sometime in the next week or two).

For now, she will continue to take daily, oral chemotherapy and await next steps after the MRI.

Other life updates:
Caroline made her school's Flag Football team back in September...they went 6-0 for the season!  They have a single-elimination Flag Football Championship tournament this Sunday. She’s excited to play defense and get after those quarterbacks!

Caroline also found out today that she was elected Class Vice President of her 7th grade class. She’s very excited about the opportunity to help lead and represent her class of ~500 kids!

Other than that, we are just plugging away...trying to stay positive and keep our heads above water.

Thank you for all the continued love, support and prayers!

With Gratitude,
The Lantz Family
