Cycle 3 - Immunotherapy + 2 Chemotherapies
Caroline started the 3rd round of her current treatment plan (Danyelza + Cytoxan + Topotecan). She had a really challenging time today with the immunotherapy(Danyelza), especially her blood pressure dropping to a scary 49/23 at one point! The treatment needed to be paused twice until she was treated and stabilized. Additionally, she required oxygen, steroids and other medications for rash and pain. It was a really tough day, but, she's an even tougher kid! She is now home resting and will go back in the morning for day 2 tomorrow. We are very grateful for the entire Vanderbilt medical team and their quick actions today!

Praying for Caroline! So thankful that the team acted quickly and she was able to finish Day 1 out and is home resting. Praying that this treatment is effective and kills every single NB cell in her body forever!
