3rd Delayed Admission

We took Caroline to clinic today hoping she would be admitted for Round 5 of Chemo...her ANC counts (neutrophils) were too low, so she wasn’t admitted. We’ll try again next Friday.

It’s very frustrating because there is nothing we can do to help her body recover faster; we literally just have to wait at home for another week to pass, and check again.

Many people have asked if the admission delays are negatively affecting her treatment progress/cancer growth...the truth is, we don’t know...and neither do the doctors...but you can't get chemo with low ANC counts.
